love, or not?

i know this chick that says she loves her abusive, hateful, immature boyfriend too much to break up with him. but she doesn't want to be with someone like him anymore....
i smell a contradiction.

    Tell her if she loves him, she owes it to him to knock some sense into him with a baseball bat.
